We supply clothing, toiletries, and blankets, pillow cases, etc. to the nurses in elementary schools in the area so they’re available when the nurse provides a hygiene lesson, a child needs replacement clothing, or is sick wile at school.
Pottstown Riverfront Park Clean-Up
On the first Saturday of the month, weather permitting, our Kiwanis club removes leaves, branches, dirt/mud, and debris from the Schuylkill River Trail in Pottstown’s Riverfront Park, which we adopted in memory of club member Alan Levengood who designed the park.
Community Meals
Throughout the year we prepare and distribute meals to the community at First Presbyterian Church. Meals consist of drink; main meal; which could be meatloaf, lasagna, or sliced turkey; and a dessert such as a snack cake and/or fruit. Please refer to our calendar for the next date we’re on the schedule.
